Mercedes MacDonald Takes Summer Internship in
BOSTON – Mercedes A. MacDonald, a Salem resident, has embarked upon a summer internship in the office of Representative John Keenan. A former student of Salem High School, Mercedes completed her pre-collegiate education at Morgan Park High School in Chicago, Illinois, before returning to Massachusetts to attend Boston College. She graduated from that institution, cum laude, with a degree in Political Science in 2003, and was able to supplement her undergraduate education by a year’s study at the venerable University of Glasgow in Glasgow, Scotland. “I consider working for Representative Keenan at the State House a great honor,” said MacDonald, “I look forward to assisting him to the best of my ability, so that he may more ably and efficiently serve the citizens of Salem.” “Mercedes is an exceptionally intelligent, hard working individual,” said Representative Keenan, “Her commitment to the people of Salem is outstanding.
